Most days I hate you….but today I say thanks.
June 12th- Maggie* inspired me to be back to the basics. (Frenchie, thank you)
Ever since that day I have been committed to really getting it right this time for myself, Janelle, my mom, and everyone else. ( I have people priority issues)
Dear Janelle,
as you sit over there writing 8 times that your name is Janelle and you are an 8-year-old CEO AND writing 8 reasons why it’s true. Today, I am thankful for Maggie*. I am thankful because, “Call a family member & write about it” came from that day and today it will be all on Janelle. I thought that day ruined my 8 years of parenting and her…. I still do to an extent, but we are stronger… so much stronger.
She’s in trouble, but her punishment will now be her daily affirmations and I hope she remembers this day forever. Her “punishment” that we will be written on her mirror, will be what she sees every morning as she wakes up.

She’s in trouble because she was too nervous to record her commercial clip….she’s much rather watch YouTube. Yesterday, I nicely told her that I was curious what actor she liked that had a nervous personality….because she was clearly ACTING NERVOUS!
Paris: So, you want to watch other people work on their dreams instead of working on yours?
Janelle: crying….noooooo
Thank you Maggie….I am having to choose to be a good person every day and it is taking work, but ohhhhhh the reward.
