As young as yesterday

I should write to my younger self more often. As young as yesterday….

If I could talk to myself yesterday, I would say, you did your best. You did not repeat bad habits, and you showed that you have learned many lessons. You were gentle with yourself, yet you still held yourself accountable.

You did not let “feelings” win

You did a great job

You passed the test

Today- My thought question was – What would I tell my younger self?

This is while I was trying to figure out my finances. “Getting fired on your off day in 2023” – My story is loading. Meanwhile – bills are still here.

It was hard for me to learn how to celebrate myself at the small milestones that are leading to the big dreams.

This is why I share my journals – If I feel a certain way, there are at least 100 other people that can relate.

When you take time to be a witness to your mind, you learn a lot about yourself. The more you know, the better you can do.

Fear is not a real label – When I want to say I am scared – I write out all of those “fears” and I make a plan for each one and a lot of times, I have gotten a little too wild with the negativity.

Then I circle back to the controllables and write a list of every idea I can come up with to solve my problems. I make the most efficient to-do list and I start working it right away.

I recognize when I need extra love, my love language is Acts of Service, and you don’t have to be in a relationship to love on yourself…ummmkayyy.

Anyways – Completing to-do list gives me the same vibes as when a mate takes something off of my responsibility plate.

Be gentle with yourself

Show up for yourself

Show up for your dreams

Consistency is the cheat code
